Hello, my name is Barbara O’Callaghan (Mrs. O) and I have been teaching technology here at Saint Mary’s Institute for five years. I really love working with our students and encouraging them to be comfortable with technology.

Teaching technology in elementary school is crucial because it equips students with essential skills for the modern world. It fosters digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and prepares them for future careers in a technology-driven society. Additionally, early exposure to technology can make learning more engaging and relevant, helping students become responsible digital citizens.
